More people will be using power generation devices of some kind whether they be solar, hydrogen or other more exotic forms of energy generation.
Renewable energy sources are becoming an increasingly important part of our energy mix, however with discovers like fracking occurring fossil fuels will be still here for some time, although our continued use (unless we can process them more efficiently) is not a good thing. Devices like home generators will still be powered by these fuel sources for some time and with other fuel types becoming available along with manufacturers and places to buy as well as sources of information like these reviews it will be helping people make the right decisions about which generators to buy.
Here’s an interesting talk from Bill G at TED: http://www.ted.com/talks/bill_gates.html
As the power grid evolves and decentralises their will be more storage and generation points meaning that the critical points of failure will significantly reduce making our infrastructure more resilient to natural disasters are network failures out of our control.
Not only that but it also brings about new opportunities for people to create their own power generation businesses or deliver power in location previously not possible. Power is not only essential, its critical to our future development. Have a look at this review of the Yamaha portable generator before you go.
